Joan Jett, Lita Ford Lzzy Hale, Pat Benatar, Gwen Stefani, Bikini Kill, Paramore all feature powerful female singers you don’t mess with! On July 11, we’re creating our own lineup of Women Who Rock Hard!!!! @ultraviolet_nj is no stranger to the Shack, packing the house time and again with their brand of catchy, hard hitting tunes. @leadpet4l hail all the way from Bethlehem PA and if you think Hetfield can downpick like a maniac, just you wait!! Leadpetal will deliver a one, two punch that’ll leave you asking for another!!! @ratsauceband is another fan favorite of the Shack and they make NO apologies. They are loud, in your face, and take no prisoners. Lastly, @saint.germainemusic is a newcomer but no slouch in the rocking department. Together, this lineup will literally, blow you off your feet. Grab a complimentary warm drink, take a seat and enjoy some fantastic acoustic music to brighten even the coldest day in February as we transform into the Acoustic Shack. This acoustic/unplugged lineup features performamces by some great up and coming local artists. @_rubywest , an Indie Rock band with influences of 90s grunge and 80s synth-pop, writes and performs original music with standout powerful, emotive vocals from the band’s multi-octave range lead singer Brittany Ramaglia. Ronnie & Shannon are no stranger to Somerville, having performed many times around the area in the Somerville School of Rock house band. Prepare to be mesmerized with their blend of strong musicianship and melodious vocals. @jeremyabramsmusic introduces a fresh wave of sad boi tunes, inspired by his pop-punk, emo, and alt rock favorites. @sam_tunkel is an indie artist whose pensive, haunting lyrics will mesmerize you. This is sure to be a special afternoon. Then stick around for a great rock show that night. All ages. Doors 12:30, music 1:00. Tix $15, in advance at link in bio or at the door. @_rubywest @jeremyabramsmusic @sam_tunkel Poster art by @jmar.digo #originalmusic #supportlocalbands #supportlivemusic #supportlivemusicvenues #openyourears #openyourmind #unpluggedmusic #acousticmusic #musiccafe #indiemusicians #njbands #njmusicscene #downtownsomervillenj #altrock #altrockmusic #liveandlocal #njlocalmusic #therockshack #therockshacksomervillenj #livemusicvenue #njmusicscene #newmusician

Producer & Sound Designer: @alexiahoward__ DP & Editor: @itsjohnli Starring @meginator as Carter, @organic_almonds as Max, and @lyajanegitlis as Hannah Composer: Thomas Andrew Gallegos Production Design: @pashkw ADs: @ben_slay & @pashkw Gaffer/Grips/PAs: @darriensnyder @actuallydavid @andrewkern.er Poster & Credit Design: @ofsfetdesign — This film was truly the most humbling and exciting and mortifying experience of my life, all wrapped into one. It is what I am most proud of from the last year, and I cannot express how grateful I am to everyone who worked on my film. From giving me notes on my script back in March to helping on set to dealing with all of the shenanigans behind the scenes until just this past December, I am just so so so grateful. And to Lexi and John, my beautiful wonderful trio mates that stuck by my side through some of the WORST CASE SCENARIOS POSSIBLE, I love you guys and you deserve to get hired anywhere you want, seriously. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who put a little piece of their heart in this film, and from all of the cast/crew to all who are reading, we hope you enjoy :)
