83rd (and last) Stop: London 🇬🇧

It was only right to end in the city where it all started.

I got to see friends from Asia, Europe, and home all in my favorite city which was super special.

Posting this last “stop” of my nine month trip is a bittersweet moment. Thank you for following along and thank you to the people that have reached out to me saying my posts have inspired them to see more of the world or to get outside of their comfort zone a bit more.

I’ve decided to take a little social media hiatus now that I’m all caught up. I have another big trip coming up soon that I’ll be back to post about so stay tuned…

So we took #kitchen707 on the road to #sevierville with #shrimpandgrits then had a fun #excursion over to #elkmont . What an amazing time!

We spent the whole day @dollywood having the most amazing time with a dozen of the sweetest people evah. Then back to the cabin for dinner and fun. Can't wait until tomorrow!

First night in #gatlinburg with our wonderful extended family. Love these peeps!

26th stop: Da Lat 🇻🇳

A little piece of the French Alps, but in southern Vietnam. This beautiful mountain town really surprised us with its architecture and scenery, not to mention a little break from the heat.

I got lost in the back streets trying to find our hostel, got lost again in a maze bar, found myself in a random van taking us to who knows where for afters (think of a Vietnamese Fetii), rode an alpine coaster like we were in Pigeon Forge, and took in some breathtaking views while riding scooters through the mountains.

27th stop: Hoi An 🇻🇳

A beautiful city with amazing food and even better tailors. Hoi An is a lot of travelers’ favorite city in Vietnam and it’s easy to see why.

I arrived at 4 am with no idea where we were staying after the strangest bus ride of my trip so far, cooked for the first time since starting traveling, made my home friends become friends with my travel friends (shoutout Fred and Billy), celebrated Buddha’s birthday, learned how to properly play Jenga, and failed to convince Jack to change his flight home.

25th stop: Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) 🇻🇳

The one where Brendan and Jack join Logan in Vietnam.

I showed Brendan and Jack a little taste of the backpacking life, had some reunion beers, learned more about the history of the Vietnam War, taught Brendan how to haggle, and decided to get on a sleeper bus leaving straight from the bars at 3 am.

It’s nice to see some familiar faces for the first time in a while.
