If life is illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love,I slay, and am content.

And finally: no good pizza meal is complete without a set of buffalo wings. We got the 14pc buffalo wings with ranch for $19.99. The cool thing about these wings is they are sauced directly after cooking in the pizza oven. Succulent, with the right amount of spice and great crisp edges, I’ve also found my favorite spot for wings. Classic buffalo wings with great flavor!

The item that BLEW ME AWAY was the 14pc DPC Wings with honey garlic sauce. For $19.99, you get a variety of drums and flats that are tender and juicy, covered in this sweet and savory, almost teriyaki style sauce. I couldn’t put them down, to be honest. I’ve tried multiple wings from local restaurants, and Detroit Pizza Co. has the best wings for your buck.

This is the DPC Bread from Detroit Pizza Co. Soft, Detroit-style pizza dough, with super crispy, cheesy crust. Fresh Wisconsin cheese with butter, garlic, and sprinkled with Romano cheese. You can also choose a dipping sauce: pizza sauce, dpc rqnch, hot honey, garlic, or butter. I was in heaven, because the chewy crust is often my favorite with pizza, and as an Italian, garlic dominated this appetizer.

Got to check out Detroit Pizza Co. the other day with my family. We brought The Detroit Classic Roni pizza home with us. The crust is super cheesy and crisp on the edges, with a light, fluffy middle. They use their classic sauce recipe and add premium Wisconsin cheese and cupping pepperoni. It was hot, flavorful, and a prime example of good Detroit-style pizza! I think we’ve found our pizza place.

This is the Hatch Chile Honey Chicken Sandwich from @littlegoatkitchen Described as blackened chicken, roasted garlic aioli, avocado, caramelized onions, local Hatch chile honey, fresh jalapeños, sharp cheddar, roma tomatoes & crisp romaine on our baked pretzel bun. I wanted to try a sandwich that was different from what I usually go for. This sandwich was a flavor bomb. Tender, lightly charred chicken, paired with fresh avocado and tomato, salty cheddar, and the sweet pepper of the Hatch Chile honey. The bun was the perfect texture to handle the ingredients on the inside and I enjoyed the pretzel texture. I also appreciate that it wasn’t salted, which can be overwhelming. Batting 1000 on this lunch adventure, and it will be hard to deviate from these two items in our future visits.

This is the Smoke In The Woods pizza from @littlegoatkitchen. Described on their website as: Smoked cremini and maitake mushrooms, mozzarella, pecorino, white truffle oil, garlic oil, herbs. I bit into this pizza and my face instantly lifted to a smile. This is my new favorite pizza, because the mushrooms are so rich and it pairs so well with the fresh zing of garlic and the saltiness of the pecorino cheese. It was hot and fresh. One of my favorite things though: the crust. Light, airy, with some pliability, it didn’t break off easily like a cracker. It held the toppings up well, all the while providing great chew and an airy crunch at the crust. Even the charred bits took the caramelization well. A true treat, this was one of my favorite items yet. But then again, I have NEVER been disappointed with anything from the Little Goat. 😍😍 100% going to come back for this and other pizzas they offer.

Ok, super proud of this little project (which took me FOREVER to even start). I made 3 little LED clouds into one big one, and we hung it over our bed. It’s an LED cloud kit that you can buy at Walmart and it comes with the strip, tape, a bottle (to wrap the LEDs around), and polyfil (the cotton looking filament). I glued and poked and prodded until I liked the shape. My only disappointment is that it’s not sound reactant and it doesn’t have a thunder cloud feature. Maybe the next ones will?! 🤔🤔 Ps. I need to make more art, this was so fun.

Made ramen the other day! Only thing I would have changed was not mass cooking the ramen and less noodles, more broth. But the pork belly was marinated for 3 days, sous vide for 3 1/2 hours, then roasted. The eggs were soft boiled and marinated for 3 days. And she turned out ok!
