POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

At some point I totally didn’t realize that summer had ended and winter was fast approaching! Although I’d say I’m much more of a winter person, this summer was one for the books. Staying local as much as possible, (because why would you actually need or want to leave Tahoe) was for sure the right move. There were endless summer concerts, delicious cocktails, laughter with friends, tons of climbing and boating and best yet so many beautiful memories with Emi as she experienced her first year living in Tahoe. We are so lucky to call Lake Tahoe home❤️

Ok now that I’ve made this post, it’s time for winter!

WE’RE HEADING TO SEATTLE!!! ⚽️🏆

We had to do it! While we didn’t originally plan for Seattle, we always knew that there’d be a possibility of adding it in last minute. The stars (and stripes) aligned for us, thanks to the FFT community (it’s a beautiful thing 🥲). An affordable ticket, a place to crash, and a flight on points sealed the deal, and we couldn’t be more stoked!

Chasing the World Cup Spirit continues in Seattle — we’ll see you there, FFTs! 🙌

Fun weekend in Chicago getting ready for the World Cup. USA v GER went about as expected but we also got to see the Giants beat the Cubs. Great weekend with great people. Ready for LA this week!

The other week, the boys and I went out for a little mountaineering adventure. Crescent moon couloir was the objective but we all had doubts that the conditions would be safe enough to get to the top. The approach to the base of the route was about three miles and after lots of skinning and traversing we finally got to the base. A quick transition to climbing mode and we started ascending the couloir. Stoke quickly skyrocketed after we realized the steep walls had protected fresh powder and we were in for a treat! On our way up this older gentleman fell for about 60 feet due to his binding being jammed with snow but luckily he was able to self arrest and gain control. Most of the way up was quite steep nearing 50 degrees at the top. After a summit beer we all made our way down slowly at first due to choppy conditions and no fall zones. Most of the way down was super fun powder turns and lots of hooting and hollering. We all had a blast and I’m definitely looking forward to more of these adventures next winter!

Been very overwhelmed with the amount of pictures and videos I want to share from my trip to Japan. I’ve wanted to travel to Japan since I was a child when I got into skiing and snowboarding. To celebrate my 30th year of life by achieving this huge bucket list item was down right incredible and so fulfilling.

I wanted to start by sharing the people and moments that made this trip so special and truly the trip of a lifetime. I wish I could’ve brought all my closest friends and share these experiences but there will for sure be a next time.

Love you guys!

Tahoe deserves much more than an Instagram post but needless to say, this summer was pretty epic. Between playing volleyball, exploring the Sierras, working with a stellar crew, paddleboarding, watching thunderstorms roll in, going to concerts, and purely soaking in the scenery, I have many memories to cherish of this place and its inhabitants. Til next time ✌️

Been a great month celebrating adventure. Regardless of the chaos happening in the world it’s good to know that a night with friends or time on the mountain makes you realize we still get to choose the life we want to live while we still got it.

Meeting up with friends who fly halfway around the world to drink champagne and ride bikes with you. No matter where the vines are growing it is my happy place.
