The making of a supermarket made out of felt - The Beginning of Convenience🪡

This show took three years to make, from concept to finished piece, and a 1 minute long reel definitely doesn’t show everything behind the scenes. From researching, designing, cutting out, sewing, painting, building and covering furniture, making neons, installing and everything in between. It’s definitely been a huge labour of love, perseverance, and dedication. But I wouldn’t have it any other way🩷

What a busy week!!! The second shipment of furniture and felt left for Arkansas @themomentary this week, it’s starting to feel very very real. Just 3 weeks until all of team felt will be flying out to the states! Looks like Esmerelda wants to join us as well😭

We also have a new department in Jess’s corner…payroll octopuses (shelf courtesy of @jmcoxall) They’ve joined banana HR and are doing a great job so far😌

Erin and Lauren have finished cutting out everything for The Beginning of Convenience, a major milestone!! Plus some very sleepy cats and Sebastian with his hard hat on💛
