Principal photography on Final Judgment has wrapped. What an amazing experience. One month ago I was in the hospital with tubes coming out of my body. Thanks to the epic support and talent of our amazing cast and crew led by our director and my wife @michele.kanan and our brilliant cinematographer @beristaindga my dream of producing this film Michele and I wrote has become a reality. Can’t wait for everyone to see the finished film next year. #followyourdream #actor

Where you begin matters. @rythmia_

If you have never experienced ayahuasca before and you ask me where I recommend starting, my answer is Rythmia.

And there’s a reason.

I thought we were singing Happy Birthday.

This was our last early-intervention speech therapy session. The boys were a few days shy of three.

We’d only had this extraordinary therapist for a few months. At the end she said:

“I just wish I’d had more time with you.”

I’ve never forgotten her.

Days later, everything had a name.

Autism.

I look at the mother in this video and want to tell her: you have no idea what’s coming.

I thought we were finishing something.

We were standing at the beginning of everything.

What followed didn’t just transform our family. It rewired us. Not because the boys needed to become someone else, but because we did.

They arrived carrying something every story I’d known had somehow missed…

Communication lives far beyond words.

The person everyone is discussing is the most essential mind in the room.

And sometimes you can share a frequency with another human being where language would actually be a step down.

A portal, not a limitation.

Over the next decade, I watched people enter their orbit and leave with their lens changed. Parents. Teachers. Creatives. People who thought they already understood connection.

I didn’t know it then. I thought I was making cupcakes.

But this was the beginning of The Savants.

Because eventually, most of us will find ourselves standing at the edge of a life we didn’t plan, trying desperately to read the ending from the first page.

You can’t.

The future you were terrified of losing was never the only beautiful future available to you.

Don’t leave the story too soon.

Stay.

Today, our beautiful sons turn 13. Ten years later, I’m still following their lead.

And if I could tell that mother one thing, it wouldn’t be that everything will be easy.

I’d tell her:

You’re about to meet your children.

And you’re about to meet yourself.

Happy 13th birthday to our beautiful boys.

One thing I’ve learned is that real healing rarely comes from one single thing.

The environment matters.
The nervous system matters.
The body matters.
The mind matters.
The medicine matters.
The education matters.
And the integration matters the most.

That’s what impressed me so much about Rythmia.

You’re not simply walking into a ceremony room, drinking medicine, and going home.

The entire week is part of the process.

The contained environment, the consistency, being away from your usual distractions, the classes, the community, the ceremonies, and the integration all work together.

And the classes matter so much because when you have visions, emotions, physical sensations, memories, or big realizations during ceremony, it helps to understand what may be happening spiritually, psychologically, and within the body and nervous system.

Having the experience is one thing.

Understanding it and integrating it into your life is another.

For me, healing the past means the memory can still exist without carrying the same emotional charge.

The past becomes information instead of somewhere you are still living.

And the work continues after you leave.

You may keep having dreams, clarity, realizations, and those sudden:

“Oh my God… NOW I understand.”

That’s why the integration afterward matters too.

Rythmia is not just a place where you drink plant medicine.

It’s an entire environment designed around healing, understanding, and integration. 🌿

**WINTER BATTLEGROUND** is being pitched as **RAMBO meets A QUIET PLACE**, which is a pretty bloody wild combo.

So basically: one rogue soldier hiding in the forest, an AI-controlled regime hunting him down, elite assassins, cybernetic soldiers, corrupted machines, and America being one bad algorithm away from complete takeover.

I haven’t watched this one yet, but come on — a forest survival action movie with killer AI, cyber soldiers, and **Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone** in the mix? Yep, that has absolutely gone onto the watch pile.

This looks like the kind of movie where someone definitely says “we’re being hunted” about five seconds before a machine tries to ruin everyone’s afternoon.

22 years to the day visiting the set in Prague with a few of my besties for this incredible film Running Scared. Today, walked into a tiny thrift store in the Deep South and this film literally fell off the shelf. Snatched it up and cried. ❤️
