On Saturday I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a proposal at Mayfield Garden 🍁

James and I had been chatting all week, trying to pick the perfect spot. I even went for a little scout and sent through a few options, but honestly, he could have picked anywhere. The whole garden is just stunning.

When the moment came, in amongst the most vibrant colours, James professed his love to Rien, then got down on one knee and pulled out the most incredible pear-shaped ring 💍

And Rien’s reaction was everything. The most bubbly, infectious energy, she started jumping up and down straight away and I swear didn’t stop for about 20 minutes after😍 just pure excitement and happiness.

Of course, she said yes.

Being a part of their moment made me so grateful to do what I do ✨

What a way to cap off the season! 🔥🔥 James smashes his PB in the 100m at Nationals with a time of 10.68 — unreal effort!!

The season started with its fair share of injuries that we had to manage and work through. After the first comp of the season, we knew we were in for a good one. The persistence you had this season was phenomenal @jmizzi28 Sheer willpower! Congrats mate, and well deserved!

Cheers,
Coach.
