Howdy, neighbor. Just a heads up, we’re havin’ party in Pomona this Sunday for Moon Block’s anniversary at The Glass House, with solo sets from Mdou Moctar and Marlon Magnée of La Femme.

If you hear screaming or violent thumping, please don’t call the cops. We already paid ‘em off. Or, pop next door where Tropa Magica and Rôge will be disturbing the peace.

Sheesh…. What can I say…it’s finally out!

Planetary Pulp!

Making this record provoked a lot of different emotions in me.

I’ve played drums for a long time, mostly been a sit in drummer or apart of projects with built in songs, which in ways limited my creativity and, at times made me feel like I was pushed to the corner, to only be a drummer for other’s creativity.

So this album embodies a-lot of my pent up creativity, stemming as far back as my teenage years and, DUDE it feels CRAZY to finally reach into the depths of my creative rolodex and, let it run free and, to have some of my best Lords painting on this right along with me, in the same vein of love of sounds.

Just want to thank everyone who helped bring this to fruition.

I could type a novel to everyone involved but I’d much rather just tell y’all personally.

I hope you all dive into this and enjoy every moment. I hope you see the parts of me/us that are hard to convey any other way

Love you all 👾❤️

@frankieandthewitchfingers absolutely detonated EXPANSION with a full-throttle dose of sweaty psych chaos, fuzz and pure rock ’n’ roll energy + a masterclass in live visuals from @psensibil.

Beyond destroying the stage, this crew is always a dream to work with and it’s truly a family affair when they’re here. We were incredibly proud to welcome Frankie back as returning EXPANSION artists and even more grateful they helped make Year 8 such a beautiful, melted mess. We’re officially in our Trash Classic Era. 📸: @savagerisingphotography
