Thank you to everyone who played, watched, and supported our very first Team Draft Moneyball! We had an absolute blast and couldn’t have asked for a better turnout.

A special thank-you to the local businesses that sponsored a team, joined us for Draft Night, coordinated with their players, and helped make this event such a success:

How to Scoop Dink!! 🚨

🏓 Shuffle your whole body towards the ball and minimize reaching.
🏓 Keep wrist cocked up.
🏓 Gently push the outside of the ball and scoop towards the target.
🏓 Swing your whole arm through and minimize wrist movement.
*Best used to neutralize the ball when you are getting pushed off the court

It was my first time being a Club Wars team captain and forming my own D1 team! We did great considering we had to sub our original line 2, and 4 out of the 10 teammates had never played with each other before today. Got to the finals and our lines went 2-3 with the deciding game losing in 3. Well-run event as always and we had lots of fun! Thank you Kim for putting this together and thank you to my teammates for playing 😁

Was a much needed distraction for me personally, as this weekend was an emotional rollercoaster. Sounds cheesy but I can always count on pickleball to make me feel better👌🏼

Thank you @nanati_z for the photos!!
