Some slightly media for you today, we don’t get many photos in the drive, though I wish we did. After all, Gritstone is god’s rock, and he accepts all forms of communion.

@jmruther4d dropped these shots in of @markbuskwood soloing one of Stanage Popular’s many 3 star classics.

It looks a truly gorgeous day this side of the Peak today, get your photos and videos in the drive link in bio for a feature.

How should you look after your feet at the Winter @spinerace?

What are the best fuelling and sleeping strategies?

Should you eat Rasta Ralph's BBQ chicken?

All these questions and many more will be answered on the official Winter Spine Races Training Weekend, 27-29 November, at Alston.

Workshops include navigation, kit, mindset, sleep and fuelling strategies, the route in depth, from a mixed gender staff with over 15 race completions.

Plus long runs on the PW in winter conditions, new pals and tea.

You don't have to have a Spine Race place to join us. Key intel to be gained for all runners.

Link in bio. See you there!

This was another adventure full of really life-enriching and affirming experiences that make me feel lucky to be part of this community that I truly accidentally landed in (thanks @ultra_damo !)

Jack fought a fierce fight on this second attempt, arguably too fierce at times, but he felt and looked strong and he ran with complete joy. His love for this sport, for the outdoors, and for all the generous people in the world of ultra running, was plain for all to see.

I’m proud of what he achieved, particularly in that last stage to Cauldron Snout. Leaving the van in Dufton was a painful and difficult decision, but he nevertheless did it with a deep breath and I believe I even heard a chirpy whistle as he walked off into the darkness.

As ever, lots of new lessons learned by us all. And yet another superb illustration of the beauty of this astonishing group of people.

It was truly ace to spend time with you all. And thanks for trusting me, Jack

(Apologies to @___harry1 & @benmcgovern__
I completely forgot to take a photo of you! I’m a doofus)

Jodie Kantas wins the Women’s Montane Challenger South!

What a phenomenal run from Jodie, who takes a brilliant win in the 108 mile Challenger South.

Jodie completed the course in a blistering 31hrs 14mins, just an hour off the course record!

Well in Jodie!
