Of Course we all could see the talent of players like Felix Okam and Justin Reed Jr. but I like to dig deeper. Here are five players that caught my eye as potential long term talent, talent that if the right steps are taken in the next couple years have potential to be top 100 guys entering their senior yr.

Jaden Slater 6’6 F Southeastern Prep 2029
Slater’s game currently is based off power his frame is impressive for a sophomore in HS. He over powers opponents with strength, agility and speed. He’s an Automatic Double - Double. I’m looking forward to seeing him add more skill and touch to his game, as he adds finesse and more range to his game, Jaden his ceiling will continue to improve.

Omar Kamara 6’5 F - Faith Family 2029
I Saw Omar play his first game and he was EVERYWHERE, played with passion and a high motor. Blocking shots, rebound outside his area, finished around the basket and out to about 15 ft. I thought he had the potential to be one of the best players at the camp. Kamara has the potential to be a high major player with consistency and work ethic.

Brooks Richmond 6’4 G - Waxahachie 2029
Long, Athletic, Energy… Brooks has star potential written all over him, he plays with an edge that most kids at this age struggle to play with consistently. With a consistent J, and the ability to guard bigger guards look for Richmond to take a big jump in the next 12 months.

Toby Ramarontsoa 6’6 G - New Wave Academy
Toby won MVP of the Top 60 game, after looking closer at his game, I believe he could’ve made noise in the Top 30 game as well. This years talent at Pangos was deep. Toby has elite size as a guard and a polished offensive game, with some weight room he will be a pretty strong prospect.

Timothy Young 6’3 G - Heritage Hall OKC
The first thing you hear when Tim’s name comes up is, that’s Tre Young’s younger brother, but after watching closely it’s easy to see he’s on his way to making a name for his self. Tim has a strong build with potential to be a big lead guard. He has a good package around the basket and a good shooting form. As his strength continues to develop with more athleticism he will be a top PG in the 29’ class.
