HARRISONBURG, Va. — We started the morning right with @jmucru — good food, games on the lawn, and great fellowship. Then we made our way into Bridgeforth to watch the team put together a great performance from start to finish as the Dukes came out on top 87-3.

It’s official! We are now a recognized organization at @jamesmadisonuniversity !

Our story began with two friends who wanted to go out and do public worship on the Festival Amphitheater steps together during their first year. Later on, they thought, “Wouldn’t it be so amazing to invite others into what we are doing?”

When God calls you, He will provide. And He did. So, we organized our first campus-wide worship gathering at Festival Lawn on April 24, 2025. Since then, we have continued to build upon our initial ministry of public worship around campus. As people have joined us, we have also expanded into other opportunities to show God’s love through hugs, flowers, encouragement notes, and simply praying for people. As our ministry grows, we pray that our peers get to experience Jesus personally and powerfully.

Anyone and everyone who desires to know Jesus is welcome to come join us!

What a year! I could’ve never imagined my first year of college looking like this, and if I could do it all again, I wouldn’t change a thing. The Lord provided and exceeded every single expectation more than I could’ve ever hoped for. I’m so thankful for every person who made this year so special and I can’t wait for what God has in store for the future! Thank you Jesus for friendships worth missing!
