A huge congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who participated! We are so thankful for the amazing turnout and support throughout the event. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding as we worked through a few difficulties along the way!

Most importantly, all of the support goes toward an incredible cause, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for helping us make Mr. Heartthrob 2026 such a special night! ❤️

With the conclusion of rush week, here are some updates from last week and reminders for this Thursday:

BID EXTENSION UPDATE: If you are eligible for a bid, please remain in your dorm from 5pm to 9pm while fraternities walk around campuses giving bids.

If you can’t be available at that time, please communicate that to the chapters that you rushed. ‼️

Just to clarify, the no contact period is between the moment after your interviews conclude and Thursday’s campus walk. Be patient, the wait is almost over!

✨ Nourishment for Neighbors is making great progress! ✨

On our very first day (Mon, Sept. 15), we provided fresh groceries to nearly 100 neighbors in need! Each person also received a food access resource booklet filled with helpful information to support their food security journey and a little recipe packet for ideas on what to use their fresh produce for.

A huge thank you to our amazing venue partners — @asburydowntown, @ourcommunityplace, Lacey Spring Food Pantry, and Immanuel Mennonite Church — for opening their doors and hearts to this initiative. Thank you to @jmupikes for volunteering with us!

It's not over yet, though! We’re continuing today and tomorrow at these times and locations:

📍 Asbury United Methodist
Sept. 16–17 • 9am–3pm
📍 Our Community Place
Sept. 16–17 • 10am–2pm
📍 Immanuel Mennonite
Sept. 16 only • 5pm–7pm
(Immanuel also welcomes neighbors to Tuesday Night at the Table, a free community meal at 5:30pm. Come share food and fellowship!)

And don’t miss our celebration ceremony at the Lucy Simms Auditorium on Wednesday, Sept. 17! We’ll come together for snacks, speakers, and a chance to connect as a community, with a special focus on food support. 🧡

Together, we’re working to make sure every neighbor has access to the food and resources they need.
