Life is limited… why would you spend it living for anyone else but yourself

On average, we get 80 springs. 80 summers. 80 falls. 80 winters. Around 2.5 billion seconds to live.

That might sound like a lot, but time moves fast.

If you are 20 right now, think about how long ago you learned to ride a bike. Think about how far back elementary school graduation feels. We are moving quickly, even if we cannot fully feel it in the moment.

So today, just think about that. Not to stress you out, but to remind you not to get too comfortable either.

All I ask is that you try to live today. Not for anyone else. For you.

Do something that makes you feel good. Step outside. Breathe in the air. Sit under a tree. Go to that arcade. Watch that movie. Hang out with those friends.

Because even if it feels like just another day, choosing to live it is what makes it count.
