Including 12 tracks across a 2x LP, 🌃Night City🌃 draws from the rich lineage of Detroit electronic music. Goldberg cites influences from dystopian cityscapes and futurism to space exploration and the possibilities of technology.

Huge love to Rebecca Goldberg for bringing pure Detroit futurism straight into Pistil for SILO — vibes from start to finish.

Big thanks to everyone who filled the floor, supported the artists, and grabbed a vinyl from Venn and JNN APRL’s debut releases.

Stay tuned for a special announcement.

Pistil invites you to a night driven by the deep, uncompromising spirit of Detroit techno. Step into the heartbeat of the 313 with a lineup pushing the edges of underground sound. Rebecca Goldberg is flying in from Detroit, bringing her signature futurist grooves and hypnotic, driving rhythms. She’s been killing sets across the U.S. and Berlin, and she’s bringing that same Detroit spirit straight to Korea.

Local heavyweights DJ Botermelk fresh from the Venn label launch, is ready to keep the energy moving. Alongside Madting resident Shlemba, together they’re known for heavy, atmospheric, and layered sets.

Vinyls from Venn and JNN APRL’s first release on Rene Koala available for purchase from the venue. Expect a full spectrum of deep, driving sounds: raw machine funk, pulsing basslines, spiraling synths, and the timeless futurism that made Detroit techno a global force.

Pistil invites you to a night driven by the deep, uncompromising spirit of Detroit techno. Step into the heartbeat of the 313 with a lineup pushing the edges of underground sound.

VENN is the freshly spawned label from Seoul-based DJ Botermelk. The debut EP is delivered from the man himself, with 3 tuff club-ready original mixes and an introspective remix from Bristolian wizard ‘Boulderhead’ making up the fabric of the record. The Rubber Glover EP stretches dubbed-out house music with quirky thrills and seductive traits. Energy-infused and playful but with elements of darkness and eerier atmospheres, it is the perfect blend of fun and serious.

Gift n curse principle is an album by JNN APRL, a Detroit Baptized artist currently living in Seoul. Released in 2024 on her own label Rene Koala and distributed by Rubadub, the album showcases a raw, analog sound influenced by Detroit’s electronic music spirit.

Jnn Aprl – Gift n Curse Principle [LP]
