10/19/2025 will be known as the day my life changed forever. What should have been a normal weekend at the races, like time and time before, changed in an instant due to some unforeseen variables. After a spinal cord injury your injury date is known as your life day. Today we celebrate my first life day, it’s taken 365 days to get here but who’s counting? Life definitely looks different than it did a year ago…

At this point in my journey I can’t say that this new life is for the better, but I also can’t say it’s for the worse. Everyday brings new struggles and obstacles to overcome that were never an issue before my accident. Living with a spinal cord injury brings many new challenges and ways of doing things that you never would have understood before. It requires you to show up everyday and put your best foot forward because everyday will not be an easy one.

This injury is not for the faint of heart. I lost my job, my passions, the ability to do normal everyday tasks and of course the ability to walk and feel my body. Dirtbikes and bicycles were my LIFE for 36 years, it’s a hard pill to swallow that something you love so dearly can take everything away from you in an instant. I was stripped of my ego and all competitiveness and am forced to rebuild into a new person that I was never planning on doing.

I can not express my gratitude enough to my friends and family that have been by my side throughout 2026 as we rebuild this life together. From everyone @motooption who helped with fundraisers and shirt sales, @biggunmike1997 and @road2recovery for holding our hands and walking us through every step of this recovery process along the way, to my “angel donor” aka my new best friend for always making sure we are financially set and have the resources needed to get better and tackle every new day. I want to say thank you to everyone who bought a Stockwell string t shirt and wears it all across the country. From the bottom of my heart thank you to everyone who has supported me over this past year.

I’ll leave you with this. Cherish the small things in life, hug your loved ones and don’t get to caught up in the stupid shit. Tomorrow is never promised. 100 Strong

THAT FACE!

Here are some fun shots from ESC DH2 … for these, riders either had to have an interesting expression or be looking directly at the camera, and/or have either clear/no goggles or anything covering their mouths. (Bonus points for visible laughter!) Pretty easy to tell which of these are seeding runs vs. practice laps…

Wrapping up that last bits and pieces of this project. Super stoked to see how it came out and it really shaped up even with many pivots and on the fly decisions. 😂😂

Started quickly throwing together the end tables to match the table, and my Woodchuck in the making was on a mission on putting together 2 lamps today.

Sadly to report he has already expressed dislike for sanding. I was REALLY hoping he would love to sand 😂😂 He loves sweeping though so I’ll take that as a win.

I was hoping to have more done this weekend but life has been life, on the flip said my other part time helper and I have been having an amazing time in the wood shop. In the time in age where kids can literally do almost any thing these kids chose to spend time crafting. It blows my mind how much time they spend in the wood shop that’s not super warm. For Christmas I got her a little digital camera that we finally started playing with, my secret hope is she likes photography so she can photograph my work. 🤫🤫 I do an awful job 😂😂Layne and I had a date day and went to bowling and arcade. Essentially she crushed it the entire time.

As far as the wood shop chickens I think their time in the shop is coming to an end. I finally got the weasel that took out 10 of our girls.

Now about the piece, I’m blown away by the following that came from the last video. So thank you for all those out there watching the build. I’m learning a lot from this one and cannot wait to transition the design into hardwood and adjust some of the proportions.

Until next time I appreciate all the new followers and eyes on this piece, it brings a different joy of woodworking when you know it’s coming together.

Back to this baby! This piece is going to a very good friend of mine, of course I needed to make some thing special. Here is my 1st whack at some thing that’s been in my head for a little bit. I’m throwing little bits of all my ideas at it to see what works and what doesn’t. I think I’m sadly turning a different direction with my drawer faces which I’m a little bummed about. I’ve learned not to push to hard for the visions but let them come to me. This girl is really shaping up! This weekend was the 1st time I used a 1.5” round over bit and all I gotta say is I was scared.#woodworking #carpenter #saratoga #crafts #furniture #woodworker #dusty #nordog #gangforlife

I love my biking homies.
The 2024 @_pinnacle_point_ Halloween Jam was a great sucess. So crazy to see what this event has turned into. It started as a day we were free and wanted to get together to ride in October and grew into the gathering it is today. So happy this is an excuse to get everyone together for a day of bikes, laughs, and great memories.

Pinnacle holds a very special place in my heart and I will always try to work on it and make it better for me and everyone who enjoys it. Plus, a little bit of digging is good for the soul. Without this hidden gem, I wouldn't have met so many amazing people. Such a great community that is there for you.

Sorry for the sappy post but I love these guys.
Keep on keeping on 🤘
