Thank you to each and every person who supported our shop @makembaboutique at @medicinefestival. As I sit In Mexico after a long travel with my family ( 24 hour travel with 3 kids!) I reflect on the beauty of the festival, the land, the people, the children, the families, friends, musicians, story tellers, artists, the animals, the medicine keepers, the volunteers, the ancestors, the elements, the organisers and the fellow vendors. The coming together of so many beautiful people from so many different places to share in joy and celebration of this beautiful life.
A huge thank you to all the organisers of the event, what a big task with many challenges and all the unseen work you do. But we feel it all, the beauty, the love and the attention and the growth and I thank you.
It is an honour to share @makembaboutique with you all and get to travel the world doing what we love. Thank you to my amazing team who travelled from South Africa @josh_snyman and @jo_d_tlali and to my beautiful daughter @skyla_quetzalli, we rocked it x

I am the boar.

This rig is worn like a backpack - you carry the whole beast on your back. Frame, fur, tusks, weight. You don’t operate it, you become it.

The wild boar is my spirit animal, so to embody him for the walkabout at @medicinefestival felt... right. Grounded. Relentless. Heart-first.

Drums in front, dust underfoot, people parting then following. No stage, just spirit moving through a field.
Medicine, thank you.

This is for the woman who hears the call of something deeper. Who is ready to soften, to listen, and to remember the wild, wise nature within her. 🌿

Join us this May for Bodhi Khaya’s Wildly Rooted Women’s Retreat, a 3-night immersion designed to guide you back into your body and your own wild nature.

Held within the pristine sanctuary of Bodhi Khaya, this experience is an invitation to slow down, soften, and reconnect with the rhythms of the earth, and the innate wisdom within you.

Facilitated by Annette Müller @annettemuller – Medicine Woman, Mentor and Founder of Wild Nettle @wildnettle.love – and Olivia Moon @oliviamoonwellness, Holistic Coach, Breathwork Facilitator and Yoga Teacher – alongside Bodhi Khaya’s resident practitioner of plant and nature medicine, Jodhi @jo_d_tlali – this retreat weaves together embodiment, nature connection, and ancient wisdom traditions.

For many women, the pace and structure of modern life pull us out of the body and into the mind. Yet it is within the body that our deeper knowing lives. From a regulated nervous system, we are able to hear the subtle voice of our intuition, and reconnect with a more authentic way of being.

We are nature, and yet it is easy to forget. Conditioning teaches us we are separate, but the path of remembering lies in returning – to breath, to movement, to the living earth beneath our feet.

Through embodiment practices, conscious breathwork, plant allies, and intentional time in nature, you will be gently guided back into connection, with yourself, with the natural world, and with a circle of like-hearted women.

Retreat Includes:

* Cacao Ritual and Women’s circle
* Guided Feminine Embodiment with Annette
* ‘Well-being is Whole-being’ workshop with Olivia
* Smudge Bundle making Workshop & Foraging walk with Jodhi
* Wild Nettle Infusion making Workshop with Annette
* Take-home Wild Nettle Mini Ritual Pack
* Creating an earth altar
* Conscious breathwork Journey & Sound Bath with Olivia
* Morning yoga and breathwork
* So much more!
