Had a wonderful time celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Ottawa International Animation Festival. Met up with some old friends, old professors, and made some new ones. Also saw so many screenings of new animated movies and shorts. Loved it like I often do and I hope to come again someday.

Hey fabulous hams, let’s welcome our social media designer, Joanne Do! ⭐🍰

Joanne Do is a 2nd year student at SJSU and dreams of working as an animator for movies or games. In the future, if time allows, she also hopes to pursue some creative side gigs—running a sticker business and working as a wedding painter. Photography is one of her greatest passions outside of drawing, a hobby she has loved since her junior year of high school. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, with Sky: Children of the Light being her current favorite.

Although she hasn’t had personal experiences with rodent pets, Joanne often comes across wild and amusing stories about them online. She was excited to contribute to the film, drawn in by its wonderfully silly concept. As someone who adores quirky little critters, she loves the film’s art style and characters, finding them playful, fun, and full of personality!
