Camila Bustamante’s I am not better IRL captures the chaos and charm of 2010s teenage girlhood, when Tumblr felt like a world of its own and awkwardness was part of growing up online. Mixing “bad taste” nostalgia with bold shapes and rigid fabrics, the Parsons MFA designer reimagines capri pants, ironic tees, and school uniforms through a two-dimensional, digital lens.
