Have you ever noticed your jaw clenching when you’re stressed, or when you’re holding back words or emotions? Maybe you’ve also noticed tension in your pelvis, especially when life feels busy and demanding, or when you’ve become disconnected from your body, your sensuality and feminine centre.

Our bodies have their own ways of holding, often without us even realising it. The pelvis, also known as our “second skull”, is intimately connected with the jaw. These sacred twins mirror one another in their patterns of holding and release. When one tightens, the other responds, reflecting the interconnectedness of these two parts of our body.

When we bring loving awareness to these centres, we start to notice the subtle ways they communicate. Through conscious breath, somatic movement and loving touch, we can begin to soften areas of holding, allowing greater relaxation, openness and connection within the body.

As we become more attuned to our pelvis and jaw, we can deepen our relationship with our own bodies, our sensuality and our capacity to experience pleasure.

During our Womb Hara Practitioner Training, we learn to listen intuitively to the body through our hands, working with the intricate connections that weave throughout it.

Our next 6-day practitioner training is coming up in Burleigh Heads, November 7–12, and we have one space remaining. We also have two spaces left for our last training of the year in Glastonbury, November 30–December 5.

We’ve just wrapped up our Ireland and Canada Womb Hara Massage trainings, immersed in the magic of the land and the beauty of sisterhood.

It’s been such a nourishing time, sharing our stories, laughing, crying and holding one another, giving and receiving this loving touch. We all left with full hearts and soulful connections I know will continue to blossom.

The ancestors of the land held us as we opened to embody and receive the medicine of this sacred massage.

The Integrative Womb Hara Practitioner Training is coming up this month, led by Joanna Barnes (@joannabarneswomb), the Institute of Feminine Arts Associate Teacher for the UK and Europe (@theinstituteoffemininearts). Did you know your womb has a natural capacity for movement?

She’s held within the pelvic bowl by a network of ligaments, fascia and connective tissue that support her position while allowing her to move naturally within the pelvis.

Her position can be influenced by pregnancy and birth, changes within the pelvic tissues, the menstrual cycle, posture and the structures that hold her in place. Tension and patterns of holding in the surrounding tissues can sometimes affect how she sits within the pelvis, which can lead to discomfort in the lower abdomen, pelvic bowl and lower back.

Our womb is more than a physical organ. She’s the centre of our creative energy, a place of deep instinct, feeling and primordial wisdom.

Womb Hara Massage works physically, energetically and emotionally, gently releasing tension and patterns of holding to support the womb into greater balance, encouraging circulation, clearing stagnation and restoring the flow of Chi.

When we create more space and ease around the womb, we can begin to feel more space and ease within ourselves.

Feeling deep gratitude for the ancestors of the land, and for the lineages that walked beside us on our Womb Awakening Facilitator Retreat.

There was such deep holding over these seven days. Powerful medicine revealed itself, and I know its gifts will continue to ripple through our lives. Our Temple was filled with love, sisterhood, laughter, tears, and profound moments that words can never quite capture.

A big thank you to @joannabarneswomb and @wright_approach_wellness for all your loving support and all that you brought to our temple.

My heart is full as I celebrate each woman who said yes to this journey. Thank you for your presence, devotion, and willingness to descend into the depths with so much courage and trust, meeting yourselves, one another, and the mysteries within.

May the medicine continue to unfold through your lives, into your sacred vocation, and into the hearts and wombs of the women you serve ❣️

Feeling so much gratitude for these women and the journey we’ve shared together. Celebrating each sister as she deepens into this sacred work and carries it forward to the women in her community.

It’s always so nourishing to gather in sisterhood. Spending these days together, tending to our bodies, sharing stories, laughter, tears, wisdom and healing, while supporting each other along the journey.

What an incredible festival @soul.revolution.festival

It was my first time attending this year and I'm still on a high from the experience and reflecting on the 4 soul nourishing days.

The stunning Weston Park, the people, the facilitators, the music, the singers and bands, the food, the workshops and talks, the children's area, the sauna, the bell tent, the Zen horses, the connection with nature and the sunshine. A community of like minded souls from all walks of life. Where people were free to express themselves with no judgement only love, unity and oneness.

The programme was jam packed and so much to immerse yourself into each day. 14 stages!

I attended the most beautiful cacao ceremony held by @sariseramor who is singing this song in my post. Thank you for holding the circle for peace 🕊️ it filled my heart 💚

It was great to listen to Gareth Icke @ickonicmedia and his take on the world. Top guy.

We attended a nourishing and immersive sound bath with Andy and Meltem from @aumtree_yoga

The girls loved the Zen Horses and more to follow about my experience with the horses 🐴✨ The children's area was brilliant for families with loads to do for them all day.

A huge thanks to the Soul Revolution Team for all their hard work. What an event to put together.
