They say it’s important to find your tribe in life, and my conservation and storytelling family, from all around the world now, is mine - so joining The Wildlife Trusts for any site visit or event always feels like coming home.

This past week I got the chance to visit @northwaleswildlifetrust, and meet their incredible staff and volunteers.

We breathed in the sea air in the company of seals, and in conversation with @craigbennett3, CEO of @thewildlifetrusts, we spoke frankly about the need for connection, transformation, and taking care of our hearts and minds through these difficult times, with a gorgeous audience at Theatr Colwyn (link in the bio).

The Wildlife Trusts also generously voted me in for a second term as President of their federation during our AGM. I had a lump in my throat and very nearly blubbed as I thanked them all for putting their trust in me, and for everything I have learned from them all these past five years.

I truly believe that conservation organisations like @thewildlifetrusts are the leaders we are looking for. I have witnessed this federation grow, galvanise its tremendous skill and knowledge, collaborate across sectors more than ever, and clearly and pragmatically identify and act on the challenges we face in a holistic and interconnected way.

We are committed to taking care of people and will continue to ramp up our efforts to inform, support, and connect communities, so that the nature we all depend on can recover.

#tbt 12 years ago a few of our friends flew from England to visit us in BKK for their Easter holiday and it was also Thai's New Year holiday so they got to experience the traditional celebrations of water fight! that trip was loads of fun. 12 ปีที่แล้วเพื่อนบินมาหาเลยพาเล่นน้ำสงกรานต์ที่อาร์ซีเอซะหน่อนก่อนบินไปกระบี่กันสนุกมากเจอแก๊งเพื่อนน้องชายด้วยรวมตัวกันสนุกไปเลย 😊
