A private Pilates session is where movement becomes a conversation. ✨

At High Bridge Pilates, we believe in the power of working together — listening, observing, and creating movement that is meaningful for each individual body.

With focused attention and the principles of classical Pilates, every session is an opportunity to build strength, improve control, and discover a deeper connection between the mind and body.

Personalized. Precise. Purposeful. 🤍

Join Joanne Barett in our new Slow Flow Ashtanga class on Wednesdays at 4pm!

Joanne experimented with yoga as a compliment to her dance training. After just a few classes she was convinced by the good feeling a yoga practice offered. While residing in Miami, she studied both Anusara and Ashtanga Vinyasa, loving the alignment based Anusara and the physicality of Ashtanga, and went on to complete 200 hrs in 2009.

Her teachers, Marisa Gallardo, Rosella Rossi, and Peter Barber (Anusara) were instrumental in shaping her yoga path, as well as Kino MacGregor, Tim Miller, Scot Hendricks, Gretchen Suarez, David Keil and Daylene Christensen. Recently she traveled to India and studied with Suddha Wexler and Lino Miele (Kovolam) , then in Chicago, completed “Yoga Therapy” with Manju Jois and Greg Tebb (Chicago Yoga Center).

Joanne holds 80 hrs with YogaEd. (K-12) and finished a 30 hr training in Restorative Yoga with Grace Mercedes. She holds a BFA in dance, and had a fulfilling 25 yr dance career.

Sign up now through our website or by calling the studio!
