We welcome the month of May with Delicado OC ✨

Sired by Latino and out of our matriarch Ordenança OC, this homebred stallion, now in his 17th spring, continues to impress with his class, talent, and consistency. With 51 offspring registered in the breed’s Studbook, Delicado OC makes us proud for the quality and balance he passes on to his progeny — a true reflection of the selective breeding that defines our program.

As promised, we're sharing a video of Quico OC 😉 A young stallion who has been showing great progress under saddle and still has plenty of room to grow.

𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗢𝗖 – 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲! ✨

From father to son, from son to grandson – the essence lives on. 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘆, 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 define Delicado OC and are clearly passed down to his offspring, leaving a lasting mark at Ortigão Costa Stud. His son, Medidor OC, follows in his father’s footsteps and is now a breeding stallion at the stud, currently schooling PSG level. His grandson, Rimo OC, has just started his career under saddle and is already showing great promise.

A legacy that makes us proud!

Have you chosen which stallion will benefit your mares in this breeding season? 🧐 Our stallion Ocidente OC is available for a limited number of mares outside our stud. Ocidente OC combines structure, breed type, and a great temperament with three quality gaits. A son of Cartaxo OC and Ibiza OC by Almansor SS, he boasts excellent genetic potential 🧬
