POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Are there any other mamas out there still catching up on previous school year photo albums 🙋🏻‍♀️😂🤪 Just finished both back to school nights for the new year and excited for what 2nd grade brings. But before that we’re now saying farewell to Na He’e Nalu 🌊, the incredible 1st grade school year for True. We are so proud of our growing sweet big boy💙 Grateful for such amazing teachers, coaches, and friends who journeyed alongside True and brought out the best in him. 1st grade was a year of discovery. True discovered his passion for sports, the ability to do hard things, his curiosity in learning, and an incredible crew of boys who became some of his closest friends. Closing our chapter in Omidyar K-1 neighborhood with some of the best and most magical memories made💛💙✨🥹

In the same boat with a lot of your friends [alt: “In the same boat with Evette and Smeg”]
Waitin for the day your ship’ll come in
The tide’s gonna turn and it’s all gonna rolllll your way

Here’s to Dolly, and some of my favorite Dolly performances by @karirreese with @bawdyburque (2025), @burquetah at @abqliltheatre (2012), @9to5themusicaluk with @davidhasselhoff (West End, 2020), @dartmouthrockapellas with our 1990s arrangement of “9 to 5” and recorded on our Velvet Rocks album

All us Rocks know the superstar who sang solo, but do we know who did our arrangement of 9 to 5?

Weekend recap💫 From a sunrise at the soccer field to a sunset on the tennis court mixed in with some basketball and core memories imprinted💝 True came out with 16 points at his first game of the season while Mikayla chose to level up with tennis trying out the competition side of matches on the court. The kiddos are full on into their sports era and we love seeing how passionate and committed they are to their craft. Sure there are plenty of frustrating, humbling, and disappointing moments we see them experience but to see them grow in their character, how to compete, their resilience, and sportsmanship are invaluable life lessons we are grateful they get to learn. Extra bonus hitting the jackpot with this crew of fun, inspiring, and supportive parents for this season. Let’s go ❤️⚽️🎾🏀⚾️✨

Latergram posts before more birthdays and holiday festivities hit🎉 I gotta give a shout out to this all star team for going above and beyond with such a special and meaningful surprise birthday party this past week🌟💝 Left True’s basketball practice early thinking I was going to dinner with a few friends turned into what felt like a pre-sports game getting hyped up by this all star squad… my school mamas home team while missing a few🥹🏆🥰 So blessed our paths connected through our kiddos. Naupaka magic and some of the most inspiring mamas I’ve met along the way💕 Seasons are so real and what a blessing it is to have crossed paths with those who truly see you, is there in the trenches with you, brings out the best in you, and even makes it out on a school night to celebrate😂💃💪❤️ Thank you again mamas for all that went into making this moment extra special with all the meaningful words and details 🥹 Scored the best team of mamas to journey and rise with✨💖💫

I’m so proud to share something very close to my heart: I’ve been working with Dartmouth for years to design and build the Mindy Kaling Theater Lab at the Hopkins Center! I just wanted to create a space where short form improv and zip zap zop can be practiced in peace! 😂

I loved my time at Dartmouth. It’s where I did yes, improv, directed and acted in plays, made lifelong friends, and fell in love with writing for the stage. It’s also where I quietly started thinking: “maybe I could actually do this.” Being able to give back in this way, to the place I loved so much, is an honor I cherish and will never take for granted.

I hope this lab gives the next generation the space to try, to fail, to take risks, and to invent the kind of work that hasn’t been seen before. I was so lucky to be able to do that.

And on a personal note, I love that students can see an Indian woman’s name on a space! That legacy means more than anything. Go Big Green! 💚💚💚

True’s Kindergarten end of the year gathering this week💙 A time where families gathered for the final time together in class before reuniting again in 12 years for graduation🎓Children were asked to bring in special items to them and written letters by parents to preserve until 12 years when this class reunites for graduation in 2037🥹 There is so much magic in Kindergarten and especially in this particular Naupaka class✨So unbelievably grateful for the best teachers who have believed in our son from day one and laying the foundation for our True’s journey here at 💙💛. Teachers whose love, wisdom, and grace have impacted our family’s life. Grateful for Naupaka friends who have now become family with a collection of shared special memories💝 Shout out to our incredible room leads who created such beautiful palaka table cloths imprinting this special class of 2037 with all of our children’s names hand stitched💕 Here we go..home stretch of Kindergarten.
