Do you look at fashion websites and see yourself represented? Often we see girls in the clothes marketed to us, middle aged women.

As inclusivity of skin tone and body type has taken root, age inclusivity has lagged…until Paris Fashion Week.

Luxury labels like Balmain, Vetements and Miu Miu chose to include middle aged (and older) models on their runways. This segment of the population is important to their revenue and they realized that ignoring older women is no longer okay.

I am hopeful that we will continue to see this from a spectrum of fashion designers and retailers.

We are still vibrant, fashionable and on trend. We deserve to be represented.
