"Be where you are". My coach Jaime would say, lets sharpen our skills, every training day after training day, throughout the whole year. The results speak for themselves.
Today LBT was fully present in the moment we are living and that focus got us 1st place! Thank you coach Jaime and our captains Cass and Karen and all my teammates that were present for this amazing day!

Almost a year ago I joined a dragon boat team that pushed my limits. It was hard work, it was training even if I was tired.

On the back of our jersey it say.."BE WHERE YOU ARE "
I interpreted as..."BE FULLY PRESENT IN THE MOMENT YOU'RE LIVING NOW"

Believe me when I say that coach Jaime trains us, sharpens us mentally and physically for us to be the best version of ourselves.

We have one more race to go at Riverdale.
So LBT, letzzzgooooo!!!!🔥💪🔥💪🔥

SHOUT OUT to our Dave’s Hot Chicken Paddler of the Month for June, @jocey.u 👏⁣
⁣
Since joining our team in 2022, Jocelyn has demonstrated consistency and it has shown in her growth as a paddler and as someone that constantly exemplifies GOLDVIBES™⁣
⁣
Many of our paddlers are certainly deserving of being the #LBTPOTM and we had no doubts that Jocelyn would eventually be recognized 🫡 ⁣

⁣What a weekend. Super thankful for everyone who came out to support in the heat 🥵. You all are the real MVP’s. ⠀
⠀
P R O U D of this years @lbt_dragonboat team. We showed up TOGETHER when it counted. With the fastest times both days, we got to bring some hardware home. 🥈in 400m and 🥇in the 200m. CDBF may be over, but now we have new goals to work for. ⠀
⠀
Thank you @codragonboat for another incredible year, all the teams who continually push us to paddle our best, and our new Canadian friends @firetruckdb for sterning for us!
