The After Party of My Dreams 🥂🎹💍

We had dueling pianos as our entertainment for the evening, and let me tell you—this was hands down one of the best decisions we made and the absolute highlight of our night. We and our families love dueling pianos so much that we knew we had to incorporate them as a personal touch on our big day. Every single guest had a blast. I’d relive this moment a million times over.

We also knew our cowboy hats had to make an appearance at some point during the wedding, so I slipped into a glitzy dress, Jace ditched the bow tie for a bolo tie, and we topped it all off with our cowboy hats. It was so us.

Truly a night we will never forget.

Cocktail Hour, Dinner & the Reception 🥂

Before cocktail hour, Jace and I snuck away for a few quiet minutes to ourselves—no photographers, no planners, no friends or family. Just us. Our planners and venue had arranged a private room overlooking cocktail hour, where we sipped champagne, enjoyed a few bites, and watched our guests mingle, soaking in how special the day already was. That moment was so grounding and meaningful, giving us time to truly soak it all in together before the night continued.

We then joined our guests for cocktail hour, and it was nothing short of beautiful. The violin, cocktails, and hors d’oeuvres were absolutely perfect. Afterward, we made our way to the dinner space, and it completely took my breath away. I cannot thank our planners enough for bringing my vision to life. I wanted something simple, yet moody and elegant—and they delivered it flawlessly.

For dinner, I knew I wanted a true family-style feel—long tables with everyone gathered together, mixed in, talking, and mingling. We knew we didn’t want a sweetheart table; instead, we wanted to be seated right alongside our friends and family, soaking in every moment together.

It was important to me that Jace had a detail that really reflected who he is, so when I found the baseball player groom and bride cake topper on Etsy, I instantly knew we had to include it on our cake. It ended up being our favorite detail of the day.

The toasts from our maid of honor, best man, and my dad had everyone in tears. We are so deeply loved by our people, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have shared such a special day with those who mean the most to us.
