A little personal confession… we were a bit starstruck turning up to help deliver another layer of sustainability into our local Whāingaroa DreamView farm. 💚

Working alongside this family and team felt a little bit like a dream come true.

Right on the foothills of Karioi, with significant native bush stands and pekapeka right on their back doorstep, this is the kind of place where farm and nature truly sits side by side. We’ve been working with farmers across the landscape (and they’re all legends!).., but today felt pretty special - the first traps deployed, a few possums already captured by the self setting AT220s from @nzautotraps and one more SIGNIFICANT practical step taken to protect both pasture and biodiversity!!.

DreamView is already doing so much - from reusable glass milk bottles and their very own creamery, to wider sustainable farming practices - so it’s exciting to see predator control becoming part of that story too.

A big YAY for sustainable farming, healthy landscapes, and doing that extra bit for nature.

Here’s a little reel from the deployment day on this incredible farm with the DREAM team.

Coolest family in town, what can’t they do?! Surf, skate, wing, but most important having a whole lot of fun in their shared passions. When the first born is about to leave the nest, it’s the perfect excuse for a little photo mission. And where to do this better than at the spot they all learned to fly.

Nothing like a scroll through your photos of the last year to give you a glimpse into where your energy is flowing.

A 12 month montage of some of my favourite moments tells me I really spend more time in or on the water than I do in my garden these days.

Which probably makes for rather random ‘content’ coming from me 🫣

But I think you guys are used to the hot mess that is this space so I’ll just keep rolling with it 🤪

I’m so full of gratitude for these moments. They remind me of how precious our time is on this planet!!

How our kids grow so fast and yet the older they get the funnier it is…The hubby and I love sharing these moments on the ocean and passing on everything we’ve learnt over the years.

Then there’s the memories and bonds made with my @wakaamanz and @coastguardnz whanau. Nothing like getting thrown into some really challenging scenarios with epic humans to make you level up 💪

And lastly all of the good times banked with friends (old and new)….My incredible ocean loving Wahine who push me out of my comfort zones in such an inclusive supportive environment!

Oh and can’t forget my Ollie girl 🐕 Who knew life could be so full of surprises from one day to the next with you in our lives 😆 Probs should look into getting pet insurance or just locking you in a padded room 24/7 but hey at least we’re keeping the local Vet biz thriving 💵

I’ll be calling in even more of this vitamin Sea come 2026…

Along with some gardening content thrown in (if I can remember to keep my phone charged and hands clean enough to operate it).

Big loves insta friends! Thanks for making this space rad x
