It’s hard to describe the magic that happens when top notch musicians, fans, organizers, and producers come together at a one-of-a-kind venue to celebrate the music of Vermont. @brewster_river_jamfest is an independent festival run by @ahaas011 and @keaganlafferty , where all profits go directly to the musicians. Set on the beautiful Brewster River Campground during peak fall foliage, the scene is hard to beat. Music spans across genres, including folk, bluegrass, jam, rock-and-roll, funk, electronic, and more. The best part is that everyone collaborates. All throughout the festival, musicians are popping on stage to see what sort of improvised fun they could share together. @tankrecording caught all the magic and will be releasing an audio recording of the festival soon, so you can check out some of Vermont’s finest for yourself. We can’t wait for 2027 and hope to see you there! Early October is the perfect time for foliage in Vermont🍂🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 Up-and-coming bands like @cliveband jam as vets like Goose’s @cotter.eyes get ready to take the stage and collaborate with fellow Vermont musicians. It’s hard to imagine how much work goes into a festival like this and then to imagine that all of the profit goes directly to the musicians. Tyler Nathan (guitar, vocals), Gabe Frankel (guitar, vocals), Quinn Federle (keys), Jake Dittus (bass), Seamus Ward (drums), and Sammy Yohe (vocals) met as students at The University of Vermont and quickly discovered a mutual love for the music of Grateful Dead, Talking Heads, and more. A few early jam sessions unearthed an undeniable chemistry, and the crew quickly became one of the most sought-after live acts in a Burlington scene that has spawned groups like Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Twiddle, and, of course, Phish. In just over two years, they’ve played dozens of shows, garnered over three thousand followers, and been named one of the best jam bands in Vermont by Seven Days. Now, fresh out of college and armed with a backlog of new songs, the band has begun recording its debut album and is hitting the road in anticipation of its release.

Thank you all so much for the support we have officially hit our capacity of tickets available!!! Here’s a few clips of my favorite moments along the way. Few people we still need to shoutout for making this possible. @farnsworthprime of @sevendaysvt for the shoutout! In addition to all the sponsors who have already been mentioned @macwinnphotography and my friends Kit and Sue stepped up huge with an additional sponsorship as well. @keaganlafferty my assistant director who has put a lot of time and effort into this without any pay such as myself. @mattvolin @tytrombley @fionajpeg the owners of @brewsterrivercamp and all their hard work in making this come together. All the musicians who agreed to play! And most importantly all the fans who purchased tickets to be a part of year 2! @sammyyohe our amazing graphic designer who stepped up our flyer game, made us a logo, made us handbills, worked on sooo many changes, all for a very minimal payment. I got so many comments about how cool our new flyer looked and I was proud to say that an artist on the bill made the poster! All of the people who are volunteering time to help with security, and parking. Thank you to everyone who reshared, convinced friends to come, and spread the good word of our festival. From the bottom of my heart thank you to anyone who is involved in anyway, It is really crazy to see how far we have came in 1 year and oh boy let me tell you we’re not stopping. Already working on next years lineup and let me tell you we have BIG THINGS in the works. But for now let’s just enjoy year 2 and the community that makes It all possible.
