September recap: more surfing than ever, a somehow-landed fakie tre flip, teaching a very large room full of humans, and remembering that life is better when you forget to check your phone. 🏄‍♀️🛹👩‍🏫

Venice was founded by Abbot Kinney in 1905 as a seaside resort town. It was an independent city until 1926, when it was annexed by the city of Los Angeles. Venice is known for its canals, a beach, and Ocean Front Walk, a 2+1⁄2-mile (4-kilometer) pedestrian promenade that features performers, fortune-tellers, and vendors. One tourist wrote this review, “Complete tourist trap. The streets around here are lined with heckling homeless and trash. This may now easily be the worst beach in all of Los Angeles. I would certainly not bring your kids around here.” Thanks, Adam S of yelp. #losangeles #skit #westside #comedy #realreviews
