Was all fired up for a king trip, but Mother Nature had different plans… big storms over night changed a calm morning to 3-5 foot waves that were tight together with no backbone… all the kids wanted to keep rockin, but safety will always come first with @whyknotchicago especially when there is 6 kids that are all newbies on Lake Michigan… calmer days ahead, we’ll be out tomorrow night with these kids… payback is comin on the salmon gauntlet ⬆️🦈🏴‍☠️

It’s gettin to be about that time for the FALL KING SALMON RUN in CHICAGO!! ⬆️🦈
Here’s a look back on an article I wrote & had published in the Chicago Sun-Times. This article explains how Why Knot Chicago does things casting for KING SALMON 👑🦈

I’ve already got my Vicious Fishing line spooled up on my Okuma Fishing USA spinning reels, St. Croix Rods at the ready, & my Moonshine Lures stocked up ready for the STAGING KINGS to come within casting distance on Chicago ‘s LAKE FRONT. 📈🦈🌃
