We are so excited for the Belmont Street Fair this Saturday Sept 19th!

Our flash day sign up starts at 10am and goes til we get tired or get everyone tattooed! New designs on the sheet, stencil graveyard book and our Get What You Get machine will all be on the table. For the kiddos or the noncommittal we will have temporary tattoos designed by the crew along with a ton of new merch and old VHS tapes for sale outside in the tent.

When i was fifteen i ditched summer school at Horizon High school after the first hour, to go skate. I had just missed the city bus and was headed to Tempe. I decided to hitchhike. A girl in a Corvette stopped and asked if I wanted a ride. The windows were all rolled down and she was blasting Skidrow. I said sure. She seemed old to me, but was probably only in her 30’s. Her car smelled like weed and had lots of clothes strewn about. She had big hoop earrings and laughed a lot. I was only hoping to get to the next bus line I had to catch, but she said “what the fuck…” and drove me the whole way to Tempe, blasting music, mumbling and laughing. I skated the ledge across the street from Coffee Plantation by myself and then met up with my friend Shawn. Plan B Virtual Reality had just come out. It was really hot outside but felt nice…

The shop is excited to celebrate the Belmont Street Fair on Saturday September 19th! We’ll have a lot going on outside, temporary tattoos for the kiddos in the merch tent and permanent ones for the adults in the shop. We will post the flash sheet next week and all the new merch, so stay tuned.
