It was a super cool weekend at Emerald City Comic Con! It was my first time vending in Seattle and I hope to do it all again next year 2027! I have risen from my slumber finally, and back on track! Seattle, you have completely stolen my heart— from all the wonderful people I have met during the weekend, to the little adventures with my partner 😌✨ I went into this con not knowing what could happen and the opportunities it held. Something about it being in my cards? Fate? Maybe I secretly whispered it into the universe? Whatever it may be ~ All I could say is — I’m glad we had met~ Special thanks to @photos_markm for capturing these special moments during the weekend, we have so many more photos but I’m definitely sticking these into the album 😌✨ Special thanks to Jay, Joe and the rest of the amazing crew @reedpop My jaw dropped when you reached out for the interview, I couldn’t even process it. Jay, you and your team did a superb job for keeping me grounded and creating an environment where I could feel like myself. I am super grateful for the opportunity to showcase my work! This one was a technical challenge, making the @hulaween experience feel like one continuous motion shot presented a ton of puzzles to solve, especially with a small crew in the middle of a Florida Spanish Moss Forrest. We wanted to break away from the typical music festival video tropes that seem to show up often, aiming to create a different perspective. Had the opportunity to wrk on a really cool project recently:) The is the Homebass Music Festival After-Movie 🎬🙌🏼 Each year @arimillerfilms chooses a film to base the theme of the after-movie off on. This year it was Everything Everywhere All At Once 👀 This was both a super challenging and super rewarding project. I think it’s some of my best compositing wrk yet🫡🤝🏼👊🏼 P.S. She video is cropped cause IG can’t handle the aspect ratio of anamorphics lol. Part ✌🏻 @homebass I knew I wanted to go with a few visual motifs with this one. I really wanted to lean into a Project X theme so I brought on the master of all things analog, @steadyprime for handycam capture. I really wanted the audience to feel the experience so we hard mounted every object we could think of to give it its own POV, mainly the handycam and gnome for easter eggs from the movie. We rounded it out with a helmet and snorricam. The goal was to have fast dynamic movement to accompany the natural sound, whole team went wild.
