Growing up, most of us learned that making mistakes meant punishment or earning our way back into good graces. But God’s forgiveness doesn’t work like that in the story of the Prodigal Son, the father didn’t demand that his son earn his way back. He loved him through his poor choices and welcomed him home with open arms and a celebration! That’s the unconditional grace of our Heavenly Father! 🙏🏾📖

As our community continues to grieve the loss of so many dear to us, we turn to the book of Psalms, where we find shelter in God’s promises. In this sacred book, we are reminded that even in our darkest moments, God is near, offering comfort and hope.

📖Psalm 34:18 tells us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
📖Psalm 46:1-2 reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in time of trouble.”

Even as we mourn, the Psalms also remind us that joy will return. God holds room for both within His love.

📖Psalm 30:5 promises, “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.”
📖Psalm 126:5 reminds us, “Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.”

On Saturday, December 27th, we invite you to Psalm Fest a musical journey through the book of Psalms. Together, we will stand as a family, as we hear musical selections from Jackson Chery & Bridging the Gap, Ephese Youth Choir, Ephese Praise Team, Nicky Christ & so much more!

Though our hearts are heavy, we come together in love and remembrance, trusting that God is our refuge and strength.

See you on December 27th at 10:00 am!
