@joegalay6, a business administration major, has made the most of every opportunity at Lyon. As a duel-sport athlete in football and baseball, he stayed deeply involved across campus as a member of Kappa Sigma, and gained professional experience through internships with First Community Bank, WebFlex, and local insurance agencies. While Joe has a few things in the works for his Life after Lyon, his goals remain clear, “Be happy and build a successful career.” 😃

Reflecting on his time at Lyon, Joe shared, “Over the last 4 years, the connections I’ve built through athletics, academics, and community involvement have turned into some really solid relationships, and I am so grateful for that.”

Joe’s advice for younger Scots; “Don’t say no… always say yes, even if you think you’re not ready. Push forward anyway,” echoing the college’s value of perseverance.

He also wanted to share a special shout out & a heartfelt thank you to Mr. Pat Lynch (@patricklynchatl) for being such an important mentor during his time here at Lyon!

We are wishing you all the best, Joe && your Lyon family will be cheering you on every step of the way! ❤️💙

“GO SCOTS!” just like Joe would say it! 🤪
