On Sunday, Pastor Holly shared Scripture where we need to be joyful always, and for today’s #TeamTuesday, we have Joel, who is always there to welcome you with a smile!

I have been at Oasis for over fourteen years now and have served on Outreach and with our Usher team. Some of my key memories since I have been at Oasis included accepting Pastor Philip’s challenge on tithing. I was suffering terribly financially and remember getting a paycheck for $60. I laughed and said, “OK God, here’s $6.” But looking back, it wasn’t just the amount that I gave, it was the first time I ever gave cheerfully. It was also around that time I began volunteering on Outreach around the surrounding Oasis Theatre. Those two events changed everything for me.

Joel’s Key Bible Verses: John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
