It’s a mid-week check in to say that you don’t have to figure it all out today. Just take a deep breath ➡️ then another ➡️ then another. And if you need a place to move, a place to flow through it all, we’re here. 🩵Always 📸 @joel8x @darianrudisill @limehouseeagerforlife

🤍 Dear Yin . . . you never asked me to be more. not stronger, not faster, not deeper into the shape. •you only asked me to stay •you taught me that the edge is not a place to push, but a place to listen •you showed me that softening is not giving up with you, my breath became slower, my mind felt clearer, you give me that feeling of coming home to myself. Dear Yin. . . I want to say thank you for the long holds and the lessons that come with it. for showing me that rest can also bring growth and that’s where the magic happens. We are so honored that Cheetah Chrome and The Dead Boys came through The Royal American on September 15, 2017…almost nine years ago to the day. Having a band that helped shape punk rock on our little stage is something we’ll always be proud of. Ferocious, rowdy, uncompromising, and hugely influential — The Dead Boys helped create a sound and an attitude that defined generations of punk and rock ‘n’ roll. We’re grateful we got to share a room, a night, and a little piece of that history. Rest easy, Cheetah…your music, spirit, and legacy will live on 🖤🤘 #royalamshows 📸: @joel8x

Hey Charleston & surrounding area Yoga Teachers - I have decided to offer a training! If you are a yoga teacher who is ready to break free of the time-consuming struggle of sequencing your classes, eager to refresh your perspective & breathe new life into your classes - then this training is for you. You will explore ways to: •Combine intelligent sequencing with creativity •Use sequencing strategies to build classes for all levels & time length •Learn how fore-shadowing can inform the structure of your sequence •Develop your own signature sequence & use that one sequence to develop a variety of class styles. •Bring in a language that helps each student feel empower & be where they are in the practice. You will feel: •Clearer & more confident when building your classes from start to finish. •Less overwhelmed by sequencing & more supported by an intelligent structure •More at ease guiding all types of students through a thoughtful, well-paced & structured class We are not there to entertain our students with creative sequences; we are there to challenge their movement patterns & create a strong connection between their mind & body. It is our job to make sure that all the students leave our classes feeling some level of growth & accomplishment through the sequence we have offered. Together, let’s build yoga sequences you feel confident with & will return to again & again. Sequencing is more than just putting some poses together that are cool, creative and fun. Click the link in my bio to learn more & to sign up! Please feel free to DM with any questions! SEQUENCING MADE EASY! Dates/Times: •Sept 19 - 1:00-3:00pm •Sept 23 - 7:30-9:30pm •Sept 28 - 7:30-9:30pm •Oct 12 - 7:30-9:30pm INVESTMENT: $180 It’s easier than you think and I can’t wait to see the “light bulb go off” and all the “aha” moments you will experience! 📸 @joel8x @charlestoncommunityyoga

Did you know that there are unexpected yoga skills that can start showing up in your everyday life besides the fun party tricks!! These skills can be. . . •The pause that happens before you react •Staying calm when things don’t go as planned •You actually enjoy sitting on the floor because it feels natural. •You stretch whenever the urge hits you; cooking dinner, airports, standing in lines, watching your kids sports etc. . . •The sudden awareness of breath when you get irritated Yoga becomes the indescribable part of your life that is hard to explain to someone because it just starts happening naturally. The shapes are beautiful and fun but the real practice is when it begins to change how you show up in your everyday life. It’s the feeling of being grounded, more aware and convinced that everything doesn’t need a response from your nervous system. How is yoga showing up in your everyday life?? 📸 @joel8x @charlestonyogamom @duhhneese.white @itzsaramoe
