WHAT A WEEK! oh wait, it’s Wednesday night 😂. But still…a huge congrats to this group! ANDREA VELISE and BRALYN STOKES booked a @sagaftra national commercial! TERRI MINTON (loving her new headshots!) turned in a rush casting tape for a big @sagaftra feature in Kentucky and booked within hours of turning it in- can’t wait to see her in this! CHRISSY CONNER and JOEL DIGGS booked a primetime series 😍🎉 Lastly- as announced before, KC EKE also booked a primetime series (and he’s on set tomorrow for a commercial!) I got his call sheet and immediately recognized one of the guest stars who happened to be in one of my favorite 80s films- the poster is literally hanging in my office (last slide)! I said to KC, you’ve got to show her this pic of the poster, she’ll get it! In return they sent a selfie having fun on set. All in all, a great week- it’s just not over yet 🙃Thanks to all for taking my very early and very late phone calls!

Frank v. Bruce Leeroy: An ass-whooping in 7 slides (plus some bonus pics) Joel has been practicing wing chun kung fu for nearly 30 years and I started teaching arnis/kali/eskrima when I was 14, so we have known for years that we have to do something like this. Come see Take My Hand, part of the New Play Platter at @kindlingartsfest July 25th at 8pm July 26th at 1pm If you’ve known me for a while, you’ve probably at some point heard this idea I’ve had for a story about an asian Elvis impersonator fighting white supremacists at trailer park bars. Well, I’ve written it into a feature-length movie that I want to make here in Nashville. As a step toward that, I am performing a few scenes from the script live on stage at Kindling Arts Fest’s New Play Platter event this weekend. I could not have asked for better people than the team who has come together to make this happen. Don’t miss it! These past couple of months have been nothing short of a miracle! Sharing the stage and living with these beautiful souls gave me all the healing I needed. This wasn't just another show.
