Goodbye - "To new beginnings - Maybe Happy Ending" - pt1

Thank you, New York 💜
and to all my friends who made time. 🙏😘🫶

Embracing the NY spring, blessing us with all its blossoms. Remembering the good times and keeping them close. Like a snake shedding it's skin we can start a fresh. Making memories and adventures, from boat rowing in Central Park to rooftop chilly retro bar visits to watching a musical to sitting in a two-seater sports car. I am grateful the universe connected. To a new beginning. Spring.

Always wanted to do a Hong Kong take on AFTER HOURS, where we follow Joe Fiorello on a night of mischief and mayhem

Joe Fiorello could have split the Atom, but he said it's small enough to begin with....

I asked him once if it was always darkest before dawn and he said having stayed up the whole night, it was actually quite light before dawn broke

You can't argue with that logic, wishing the Man, the Myth and the Legend that is Joe Fiorello a very Happy Birthday

Yes, i will admit that part of me was hoping for Yesterday's eclipse to either blind the majority of the population and leave them at the mercy of the Man Eating plants we know as Triffids, or for the eclipse to turn the majority of observers to dust, and leave the few survivors battling Eclipse' affected semi-zombies and for that Joe Fiorello to survive and team up with the girl from NIGHT OF THE COMET and become the saviour of mankind in his own special way!

Recently, someone claimed THE KUMITE IS REAL! (Utter Bollocks)

And then I remembered...That time when Joe Fiorello got involved with the underground fight circuit in Hong Kong!

We thought he was joking but he battled all the way through from the Park Island Preliminary Circuit through the Mongkok Invitational before getting through to the finale in the infamous Kowloon Walled City...

OK we did have to remind Joe that the Walled City was long gone and it was actually the basement of Kowloon City Plaza but hey anyone who knows Joe, knows there's no stopping him and he managed to get through to the finals against Abdullah the Butcher and he never even got his fedora knocked off....

Who won you ask? Well, as the legend says: Joe Fiorello takes No Prisoners! And the Fiorello Cartel was victorious and we all ended up doing the Greek Ninja Dance...

Honest it's a true story! I mean maybe...

Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibility, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know.

I am the Gatekeeper. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me, and ponder the question... What the F#ck?"

When you find yourself wondering what could have been if @hyperobot Arne Venema and VFX genius Matthew Blaize decided to go full IFD cut and paste Ninja on Joe Fiorello 's HK Indie LOVE STALK and add Mike Abott and Ninja goodness and created MUCHI MUCHI NINJA.....only to discover it really happened

Turnback Tuesday: The Kumite is Real!

That time a few years ago when @jcvd joined forces with the @crazyfromkong crew for an afternoon of martial arts training

2023 has been another roller coaster year for me:
a mix of unforgettable moments, many creative accomplishments, lots of traveling, lost loved ones and the news of expecting a baby girl in 2024!

Massive shoutout to my awesome friends all around the globe, and of course, to my incredible wife for making this journey even more enjoyable! Here’s a quick recap of the past year, and I’m looking forward to the next chapter! 📸👶🏻 #2023Recap

Happy new year and let’s kick ass in 2024!

One of the reasons that Joe Fiorello left Hong Kong was due to repeated vampire attacks at Park Island

The Tale of Crazy Joe

(Sung to the tune of "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General")

Oh, I come from New York City, where it's truly quite a scene
The streets are packed with people, some are dirty, some are clean!
But how I longed for something different, a change of scene you know
So I booked a ticket quickly and off to Hong Kong, here I go!

My name is Joe Fiorello, some call me Crazy Joe
I like to cause a ruckus wherever I may go
In the big city of New York I was quite a sight to see
But nothing there could hold me, I had to break free!

I arrived in Hong Kong late one summer's night
With my bags full of trouble and my heart light
But oh, the culture shock of this bustling town
Everything was so different, it all turned me around

The people spoke in Cantonese, the signs were all in Chinese
The food was oh so spicy and the streets were very busy
At first it was alarming but then curiosity grew
I had to try new adventures, see what kind of trouble I could do

I climbed to the peak tram at the top of Victoria Peak
Down below were tiny people, the view did give me a tweak!
I got lost in the alleys of Stanley Market one day
Bought a snake alive as a pet, much to locals' dismay

From feasting on dim sum to floating down a river
I did it all with gusto and plenty of zest and vigor
I caused such wild commotion wherever I did roam
But soon it was time to leave - I was ready to go home!

Farewell to crazy Hong Kong and all the fun I sought
The memory remains with me, in my heart it's still caught
So if adventure is what you long for day and night
Take a tip from Crazy Joe and just get into the next flight!

I think I need to finish my pseudo musical on the Crazy From Kong team!

Goodnight
