And we couldn’t be prouder of our women ambassadors! No matter the sport, they impress us every day with their perseverance, energy, and passion. From the field to the gym, they’re the ones pushing the limits. 💪

A timeless book closes and a new chapter opens.

Time Supper Club, one of the premiere nightlife establishments in Montreal (in the world even), had a historic, game-changing run throughout the 2000s. Think of wild, decadent nights of clubbers dancing on tables, bottles of the fanciest liquors out there and celebrity sightings. I would know: I was there for it all.

Of course the hype died down, as it always does. Numerous attempts to revive what was gone were made. Finally, in 2026, the name TIME has been eclipsed for good. In its place comes @alia_mtl, a new supper club with Mediterranean influences, both in decor and on the menu.

With both new and existing owners behind it, ALIA has been open for about a month now with a completely reimagined interior and concept. Gone is the famous “catwalk” and dark/purple palette. In their place is unveiled a spacious room with neutral/earthy tones, a DJ booth taking center stage, banquettes by the walls and a large tree crawling up the towering ceiling.

Earlier this week I attended an official launch event where everyone that’s someone was invited: influencers, content creators, reality TV stars, scene-sters (did I just make that up?) and socialites. We all got to sample the pan-Mediterranean fare taking influences from Italian, Greek and Middle Eastern cuisines. We also were treated to a DJ set by @pano_akay, an electric electric (yes that’s doubled on purpose) oud show by @mono_oud and drinks galore (bubbly, cocktails and wine).

The “time” has come for ALIA…

When I got the idea to create a She Surfs Montreal Collection following the Popoyo Collection, Joëlle was the first surfer I contacted.

She gathered all the girlies to help me work on this edition! Thanks so much Jojooo! @joellepaquette

The girls’ vibe in the water is unmatched. They are beautiful to watch as they catch the scary river wave. They almost convinced me to try it… but I’m not ready yet. For now, I prefer staying on the riverbank with my camera and surfing in the ocean when the time comes.
