Some friendships begin with a simple « Hi. » 🤍
Some are built through late-night meetings, long project days, endless group chats, shared laughter, and the common desire to make a difference.
This International Friendship Day, we wanted to celebrate the people who make our Rotaract journey so special.
So, we launched our very first Secret Friendship Letters. 💌
Each participant was randomly assigned a fellow Rotaractor to remind them just how appreciated they are—through a heartfelt letter.
Because sometimes, we forget to tell the people around us how much they mean to us.
Here’s to the friendships that make every meeting brighter, every project more meaningful, and every challenge a little easier.
Happy International Friendship Day to the people who make Rotaract feel like home. 💙

As I begin my role as District Rotaract Representative, I reflect on my Rotaract story so far.
My journey in Rotaract started in 2023, a charter president for @rotaractburdubai with members who wanted to serve their community. Sometime later, I was chosen to represent our 5 UAE Rotaract Clubs @rotaractuae as the Vice District Rotaract Representative for the RY 24-25.

As of July 1st, 2026 I begin my Rotary Year as District Rotaract Representative to lead our 9 countries to another year of service, together with a team of outstanding individuals. I can’t wait to see where this journey continues to take us.

My Rac journey has been short, but what resonated with me in these years, are the people who believe in the mission to serve their community. My father, a founder of Rotary in UAE always said “if you are able to, everyone should try to give back to your community”

Rotaract will challenge in many ways, you will learn, grow and meet people from all over the world and while the word “family” is often thrown a lot in many organizations, it really is the right word for this. If there is a takeaway message is find that community that strives to give back and grow professionally from within. I look forward to the year ahead, and whether you follow me from my business ventures, gaming consultancy or a friend, I hope this message inspires you to find that family, or you can join @rotaractdistrict2452 @rotaractuae !
