Today, we welcomed the arrival of new benches around our school — quiet spaces with a powerful purpose.

These benches are here to encourage our students to pause, to connect, and to look out for one another. A place to sit, to talk, to listen... and to remind every member of our community that they are never alone.

One of these benches holds a particularly special place in our hearts — a memorial bench dedicated to former Priory student, Shay Glover. This space stands as a lasting tribute, giving students somewhere to reflect, remember, and continue the kindness and care that Shay represents within our Priory family.

We are also deeply grateful to the charity Joe’s Buddy’s, whose generous sponsorship of another bench supports our ongoing commitment to student wellbeing, compassion and connection.
At The Priory, we believe in Building Success Together — and that starts with looking after each other, every single day.

ONE FINAL PARTY BEFORE SUMMER 🎉

On 4th June, Blast Radio is taking over Freddie’s for an end of year fundraiser in support of Joe’s Buddy Line ❤️

Expect a full night of house, UKG, dubstep and techno from student + guest DJs, alongside an open decks section for anyone wanting to jump behind the decks themselves 👀

We’re also inviting other Student Radio Association affiliated stations down, so we’re hoping to turn Freddie’s into a proper student radio / music community link-up before everyone disappears for summer

Good music, good people, good food, all for a good cause

All proceeds from ticket sales and donations on the night will go towards supporting Joe’s Buddy Line and the work they do supporting young people’s mental health.

From the moment @joesbuddyline was set up, I knew at some point I wanted to do something big for them. I’d been casually saying for years that I’d run the London Marathon one day, but one time @loulyons12 called me out and said, “We’ve got a charity place if you fancy it?”!

Yes, Sebastian Sawe probably could’ve done 3 laps of the marathon in the time it took me to do one, but the goal was simple: Raise a serious amount of money for Buddy Line, finish the race, and maybe lose a bit of timber along the way.

I’m incredibly proud to say we’ve raised an amazing £12,000 for @joesbuddyline to help support young people across the UK. I also somehow managed to finish the London Marathon and went from an XL to Large in the process!

Thank you to everyone who donated and continues to support this incredible charity. I’m so glad I could do this for Lou, Ivan, Celia, the Buddy team, and of course Joe.

Joe, wherever you are, I hope I did you proud and most importantly gave you hours of entertainment watching me chase Daddy Pig, a Rhino and a Radox bottle💛
