@neworleansfilmsociety has played a huge role in my life & career, inviting me into my first film lab the Southern Producers Lab, introducing me to film family like @darcytomeetyou and @pilita @katielynmathews @kiyokomccrae . And supporting our films like @expression_of_illness and Pinball.

To have both North Star and Pinball invited back to premiere is like being invited back to a second home. Join us October 22-27!!

Behind the scenes: It’s the series finale, so we’re bringing out the big lights for a dramatic night time scene!👀

I wrote these books as a young woman, and I’m forever proud of them.

Love. Friendship. Heartbreak. Found family. Secrets. And a cat. All wrapped up in a science-fantasy adventure.

My short film, “Another Day in the Neighborhood”, was officially selected for the @louisvilleindiefilms first festival and was nominated for three awards!

Best Performance for @rae.s.hunt as Alice, who came prepared for a few heavy days of shooting and was a trooper through it all. Was great getting to work with you again!

Best Cinematography for @andrewrobinson_dp who took this project over on short notice and gave it your all. It went so well we shot something else together a week later!

Best Film for everyone that helped put this thing together. Award or not, you all rule for bringing this to life. Thank you! Couldn’t have done it without you all!

The fest is at @whirlingtiger on July 12th for free! If you’re interested in attending the be sure to RSVP through @louisvilleindiefilms. Can’t wait to share with the locals. Hope to see you there!

So hyped to share this incredible poster from @_shfthr and officially announce my latest short film “Another Day in the Neighborhood”

Back in Sept. I went down to Nashville and shot this proof of concept short film with an amazing cast and crew over the course of a weekend. This was easily one of the greatest experiences I’ve had as a director. Everyone gave their all and I’m so thankful for the hard work that went into it.

This short served as a proof of concept for @filmfestknox’s Elev8tor Pitch Contest. I took a few scenes from a feature film script I’d written years prior and reworked it into a short glimpse of what the feature should feel like. It was such a rewarding experience seeing this one come to life after so many years of having the characters in my head. Not to mention how great it was to watch with a packed house on the big screen in Knox. I’m excited to get to share some upcoming screenings with you all!
