ONE YEAR OF TWENTY2. ❤️

What better way to celebrate our first year than getting all the lads together (@reecedaines in spirit😇), doing what we love, surrounded by friends, familiar faces and plenty of new ones too.

Our first Twenty2 Recs event at Kanteena was everything we could’ve hoped for and made all the work behind the scenes completely worth it.

A few technical difficulties with the iRig and cameras meant we didn’t capture quite as much multicam as we’d planned… 😂 but here are some of our favourite clips that managed to bottle up just a bit of the unreal atmosphere on the night.

Massive thank you to @haus.lncr & @distrackt_events for the call-up and for giving us the opportunity to take over Room 2. And an even bigger thank you to every single person who came down, had a dance, supported the lads or has backed the label in any way over this first year. It genuinely means more than you know.

One year down and we’re only getting started. We’re hungrier than ever and already looking ahead at how we can go bigger and better with the next one.

This is just the beginning.

Twenty2 Recs. ❤️‍🔥

Joe Thomas (UK) - Double The Funk - Nervous Records
Joe Thomas (UK) brings a fresh dose of groove to the Tech House scene with “Double The Funk,” a driving club track built around a funky, rolling rhythm and infectious house energy. The production keeps things focused on the groove, with punchy drums, a tight low end, and a propulsive arrangement that gives the track plenty of movement without overcomplicating the formula. It’s a confident introduction to Joe Thomas’ sound, balancing classic funk-inspired elements with the streamlined approach of contemporary Tech House.

Hailing from Rugby, Warwickshire, Joe Thomas is an emerging DJ and producer who only began producing in December 2024, but has already started making an impression within the UK house scene. His music has received support from prominent artists, while releases on labels including Thunder have helped establish his presence. He has also taken part in competitions such as the ANTS Next Gen mix competition for Ibiza, further highlighting his momentum as an artist to watch. With “Double The Funk,” Joe Thomas continues building on that early progress with a groove-led cut designed for the dancefloor.
