The thoracic and lumbar spine will be the focus of next Sunday’s vinyasa classes. Some twisting, flexion, extension and just making our backs feel less right and more open.

Expect lots of breathwork, core activation, a working flow with gentle twists and a nice long savasana at the end.

Sunday
9-10am (vinyasa yoga)
10:15-11:15am (chair yoga)

Two more opportunities in May to join my Sunday flow:
5/19
5/26

Please call 718-448-6373 to reserve your spot now. ☎️ Classes are $25 each. Class passes to save / buy 5 get 1 free & buy 10 get 2 free!

Let’s open our hearts and soar on our mats free from expectation, self judgement and attachment. Let’s challenge our perspective and visit as many twisting poses as we can. Let’s seek joy and freedom and self love. All to a kicking playlist in a cozy warm and spacious room with soothing essential oils during savasana.

Any problems scheduling, please message me. 💜

This week we focus on the Sahasrara Chakra; the 7th chakra or the crown chakra. In this practice we will focus on poses that ground the top of the head, and utilize mudras, placing the Padma (Lotus) mudra there.

Located above the crown of the head, this chakra is the seat of enlightenment, wisdom, universal consciousness, and connection to higher guidance. The crown chakra opens the opportunity for unity and universal connectedness.

The crown chakra is associated with the element of pure light or the cosmos. Light is the combination of all elements; water, earth, fire and air. Like the nature of the Ajna chakra, light brings understanding to tIt’s color is a deep purple. Some associated crystals are sapphire, quartz and amethyst. Two of its most know helping essential oils are frankincense and myrrh.
