Every thing is an expression. Every expression (of life) is supported by the source of its being. We can tune into the the loving foundation of our being beneath the thoughts, emotions and beliefs. .
Your beliefs are the foundation of your reactions, each reaction is an expression of a belief. What is the foundation of the beliefs? The mind?
If the mind were seen as an expression, what is it an expression of. If the self that you think you are — the person sitting in a chair surrounded by “external others” and “internal” thoughts — that self that you find yourself watching and being hard on sometimes —- if that were an expression, then I’m asking, what is he or she an expression of? What is the foundation which supports that entity? If we look for that, we find only luminous, loving presence-awareness. That ultimate, soul-quenching source of all life, the essence of all that appears and disappears. . . .
