POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

We are excited to announce that our short film The Wounded Wolf will premiere on October 17, 2026 at the Tasveer Film Festival.
The film explores the life of an Afghan refugee musician who joins US marines for his green card, turns to a Shaman to heal his PTSD from fighting in Afghanistan for eight years.

Bashir Omari, a classical Rabab musician, flees Afghanistan when the Taliban declares music sinful. As a refugee he joins the U.S. Marine for his Green Card and serves in Afghanistan for 8 years. Haunted by PTSD, now a limo driver in New York, he serendipitously meets Elka, a shamanic healer with her own haunted past. She invites him on a healing journey, while dealing with her own generational trauma.

Deeply personal and poetic, this East-meets-West story of mutual healing shows how the sufferings and joys of the human experience blurs borders and boundaries, countries and religion.

✨ #TheActorsHomeStarProject: Carol Canhisares ✨

We’re celebrating Carol Canhisares, Brazilian-American actress and writer based in Barcelona, starring in What if? — a film about the way time reshapes memory, regret, and love. Exploring how one unspoken sentence can echo across a lifetime, it asks: if you could face your younger self, would you make the same choices… or finally say the words you couldn’t before?
