Reminiscing on the beautiful lessons from Lalo at El Nanche distillery. Beginning our palenque tours with El Nanche is always an amazing welcome. His bright smile and family translate so perfectly in the mezcal he produces. His amazing son, Angel, takes us on the coolest side quests and lessons about the history of agave cultivation and the legends surrounding it. Lalo takes us on an amazing hike through his agave fields where he grows both classic agave varietals we all know and love. However, he also go out into the old to harvest a the strangest and coolest magueys silvestres. As we get back, his beautiful wife and daughter serve us incredible Tlayudas.

We blind tasted amazing pours right off the still. And had amazing friends selecting what they will bring back home.

Stay tuned this November for the limited releases coming out by your favorite bars and retailers.

Of the many ways to say “good afternoon and great to see you”. Chava, Benjie and their crew at Cascahuin seem to have perfected that. #tequila #cascahuin #totc

25 days of Rosé starts with the 2025 Penya Rosé! French Rosé from Côtes Catalanes in Roussillon. Bright notes of Rainier cherry, red raspberry, ginger, and citrus, balanced by a salty mineral finish.

Fantastic with food but also a patio pounder.

While you’re enjoying your Cinco de Mayo with all the incredible agave spirits PLDC has to offer, don’t sleep on Mexico’s other liquid treasure: cane spirits.

The Rums of Mexico (MX Rums) is a curated project by @pmspirits and Jason Cox, dedicated to showcasing the depth and diversity of Mexican sugarcane distillates—known locally as aguardiente, cañita, or chinguirito.

From additive-free, small-batch expressions to unique regional styles, this project highlights the rich variety of sugarcane varietals and traditional distillation methods found across Mexico.

Same roots, different story—worth exploring. 🌱
