The Village of Barrington knows how to celebrate the Fourth of July 🇺🇸

A look from above at the annual Barrington 4th of July Parade as it made its way through the downtown area, bringing together local businesses, organizations, first responders, families, and the entire community.

The parade stepped off from Barrington High School and filled the streets with classic cars, music, creative floats, and plenty of red, white, and blue.

A great tradition hosted by the Village of Barrington, with celebrations continuing throughout the holiday including the Barrington Lions Club Brat Tent and community fireworks.

Some seasons mark you permanently. This was one of them.

Four months in Tulum, moving through adventure, play, ceremony, and community.. left me with something I can only describe as a recalibration. The magic here is real, but it asks something of you. I showed up. It delivered. Endlessly grateful to everyone who was part of this becoming. What a beautiful chapter 🙏

Life is tough sometimes (okay… most of the time). But we’re doing our best.

I almost didn’t post this. I thought about flexing the gigs, the rooms, the people I’ve met. But that didn’t feel right.

This year reminded me of something important — it’s not about me.

It’s about you.

The couples who tell me they met their husband or wife at one of my parties.
The messages saying I was the soundtrack to their college years.
The reminders that what I do actually matters.

Whenever I got in my own head, the universe sent someone my way to remind me why I do this.

I provide a service.
I create moments.
And I’m grateful for every single one of you who lets me.

So 2025… thank you.
