Bedding in the brake pads on the new @santacruzbicycles Vala alloy rental bikes. It’s a tough gig but it’s gotta be done 😜 @_aidanrobinson_ and @johnbutlernz can also confirm that these bikes rip!

The new e bike rental fleet is set up and available to book through our website now. Set up with @oneupcomponents EDC tools and the option to add a @boschebikesystems Powermore 250 for those longer rides.

We have 6 of these in a range of sizes available, bookings are essential in the summer season.

1. The Exam Jump 😱
Don’t worry it’s not as daunting as it sounds! The exam jump is there to help you refine your technique so you can go and smash the airbag when you’re ready! Some say the exam jump is harder than the airbag??? I guess you’ll have to come along to find out!!

2. The run in
Some choose to take a couple run ups to test their speed and visualise taking off……. others just boost it.

3. First hits on the airbag
The first jumps are always the best. You’re in the zone and in the flow after coming off the exam jump and are finally ready to hit send! 🚀

4. Trick it
Some who come end up moving from the exam jump to pulling some moves on the airbag in a day!
Will you be the first ever to pull a triple backflip on one of Gravity’s airbags?

If this very snazzy caption has got you hyped to come out to the Field of Dreams! Book a spot on a Sendy Sunday session now! You heard that right the last Sunday of every month is a Sendy Sunday!

You’ll walk away dreaming of coming back and maybe even hitting the field of nightmares!🤯

Big weekend on the velocipedes and an epic day wrestling the Dew Lakes track with @johnbutlernz, finally checking that one off the list that's been there ever since the late, great @bernard_simmond put it there many years ago. Fuck all lakes though.

Freaking did it!!!!
Beyond stoked with this achievement.
Everest 8848m elevation in under 24hrs 🤘.
Raised $2600 for the Bikehub Nelson.

Big ups support crew your all legends and came through big time with the yarns and pies 😜. Cheers @johnbutlernz for the shock lend toward the end definitely wasn't ideal with a blown up shock with no lockout 🤣. And to mum and dad who hung around to make sure I was alive 🙏.

Weather was average to say the least but stoked I pushed through and got it done. I'll be back 💪

Round 3 Kicks off this Thursday!

This week we are back at Codgers racing Firbal climbing trail (backwards) into IV line, finishing on Tumeke. This is all one stage.

Couple things to note: When you reach Firbal skid on your way up please look for riders who are racing down the climbing trail. All Riders MUST get off their bikes and walk them up the first part of the firebreak until they have passed the exit to the Firbal Climbing trail. You will liaise up the firebreak so if you want to ride up the rest then go hard.

$10 for members and $20 for non members

Timing chip pick up will be near the bottom of Tumeke on the skid site.

Finally, please keep an eye out over the next day or so for info regarding this year’s Super D scholarship. We encourage anyone who is wanting to pursue racing overseas, is a member and lives in Nelson/ Tasman to apply.

Got my EXT shock back from @nelson_suspension_nz after a most excellent service and re-valve to speed up the rebound damping. The storia V3/Era V2 combo on the shredmachine made for a smooth ride with heaps of control over the gnarliest terrain in Nelson. #GETYOURFROTHON #gravitynelson #antidoteaustralia #nelsonmountainbikeclub
